    Description

Fantastic thick pile handwoven gabbeh rug with an array of rams, mountain goats, arrows, and human figures. Very reminiscent of the Native American petroglyphs of the Southwest.

Designed with traditional tribal rug motifs but using a more contemporary earth tone color palette.

Woven from 100% natural wool with natural dyes. Excellent condition.

Woven in Eastern Europe by hand in one of the former Turkish Ottoman regions — e.g. Bulgaria, Moldova or Romania. Parts of this area were known historically as Bessarabia. The region has an illustrious tradition of weaving rugs and kelims, largely influenced by Anatolian weaving.

Very heavy & solid rug that will easy handle traffic in a foyer or near a busy doorway. The pile is cut thick.

This rug could work well in a range of decors, including modern, midcentury, and Southwestern.

5 ft. 9 in. by 3 ft. 9 in. with long wool fringes.

    Shipping is $34.
