    Description

Old vintage geometric village runner from the Sarab region in Northwest Iran. This borders Azerbaijan and the Shirvan carpet production region — so there are many shared characteristics.

These older Sarabi runners are dense and heavy so ideal for high foot traffic areas in a hall or near an entrance.

Very good overall condition with only slight signs of wear. The short cotton fringes and side cords are in excellent condition.

These are extremely well made rugs, and very durable. Exact size is 11 ft. 3 in. by 3 ft. 7 in. Heavy for its size.

Wool woven onto cotton warp. 1950s 1960s.

This is a traditional design going back well into the 19th century and earlier. The tan brown primary field areas are usually un-dyed wool, typically camel wool.

Shipping is $43 within continental U.S.
