Description
Handwoven gabbeh style rug crafted on a hand loom. Very solid and lovely textile.
Southwestern colors with a banded field and small animal icons.
Condition is mint and the rug appears unused. Finely woven with soft natural wool in Nepal.
Side cords are in superb shape. Fringes have been woven with a protective side cord so they are not exposed to wear. A fairly new rug but most of the dyes appear to be natural.
Gabbeh rugs are tribal style carpets with open fields and minimalist designs. They often work better with midcentury modern or contemporary styles and decor. This is would complement Southwestern with the coral and burnt orange colors as well.
Woven from 100% natural wool and cotton. Last photo shows the backside of the carpet.
This is a solid rug that can be placed anywhere in the home.
Although not Persian, I will emphasis this rug is extremely finely woven and could work well in a range of decors, including modern, mid-century, and Southwestern.
Exact size is 5 ft. 10 in. by 4 ft. 2 in.
Shipping is $34 within continental U.S. Or free pickup in Tucson.
