Saturated red geometric medallion rug with intricate borders and a center flower design.
The carpet was handwoven in the Hamadan district, which consists of a constellation of villages in central Iran that produce many of the finest tribal and geometric rugs in the world.
Condition is good with even wear across the wool pile from normal use. No holes or weakened areas. The fringes and side cords are in fine condition.
Despite the indication of wear, this is a rock solid rug that can be placed in a high foot traffic area.
Last photo shows the back of the rug.
