Medium sized ivory, blue and muted red Turkish geometric rug.
Overall condition is excellent with only the most minor signs of wear. The colors seemed to have softened over the decades from sunlight exposure.
Woven from 100% natural wool, including warp & weft, which is common in Anatolian tribal rugs.
Probably woven in the Dösemealti region near Antalya at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. Traditional village rug woven from soft local wool.
The exact size of this rug is 5 ft. 10 in. by 3 ft. 7 in. 1970s.
