Fantastic vintage handwoven Qashqai or Luri pictorial tribal rug from southwest Persia.
The box design is most common in Bakhtiari rugs but this carpet is from a different tribal group.

Eye-catching combination of stylized critters.
Excellent condition for the age with minor wear. No holes or tears. Wool is thick.
Supple wool weave rendered like a tapestry carpet.
The fringes and side cords are in great shape.
Exact size is 8 ft. by 3 ft. 6 in.
