Vintage handwoven Kashan motif style rug. Very uncommon range of colors featuring light blues and pastels.
The motif is generally found in older kashan carpets but it’s fairly rare. Light blue with tans and overall pastel colors.
Difficult to find traditional long Persian runners in a narrow width for Western hallways.
Very solid and heavy with almost no signs of wear!
The weaving and knot-work is not typical for Kashan and it was likely woven in another location. The pastel dyes are unusual as well.
The carpet is out of a EUROPEAN Estate! Kashan weavers work in formal floral designs like Lilihan and Sarouk rugs. Geometic designs are much less common.
Excellent condition with little signs of use. No holes or weak areas. Thick pile.
