Description
Enchanting geometric village runner from the Sarabi region of Northwest Iran. This borders Azerbaijan and the Shirvan carpet production region.
Classic Lenkoran motif often seen in both Caucasian and Persian rugs from this area. Colors include deep blue, red, gray, cream, and turquoise blue.
The tan wool areas are probably camel wool, which is common in Sarabi runners.
This runner is solid and fairly heavy for its size.
