Wonderful patina and character from many decades of use.
This rug is about to get a wash — as there’s a small area of darker color that might disappear after a wash. (See penultimate photo)
Fantastic triple hooked medallion motif with tree-of-life icons from Shiraz region. Woven by the tribal Qashqai or Luri.
Various shades of rust, blue, red, cream and burnt orange.
Minor even wear. Excellent condition for the age.
Natural wool pile; cotton warp and weft.
Exact size is 10 ft. 2 in. by 5 ft. 5 in.
