Handwoven Caucasian rug from Soviet Armenia. Purple, blue and orange bold colors.
Very solid carpet with no wear. It was displayed on the wall for decades, which was common in Caucasus and Soviet households.
Fringes and side cords are in great shape. It was washed in 2014 and was stored ever since and not used. Very similar rugs woven in Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Traditional Kazak Leshghi star rug. Real Caucasian rugs are highly collectible — especially old, vintage and antique examples.
